My interest in weapons made me think...why not make a Tumblr for it? People Tumblr about food...drugs...girls...why not guns?

I've owned about 50+ guns since I started buying back in 2008 but I buy and sell to fund bigger purchases. I also own several guns overseas but I'm unable to legally bring them over to the United States.

None of the images are mine unless specifically stated. Images belong to their respective owners.

Interesting…

Haven’t posted as much pictures lately due to a hectic schedule but while going through comments, a couple stuck out.

In regards to the German and U.S troops on patrol through Afghanistan, it seems I evoked the ire of some anti-war minded individuals. Personally I don’t mind differing opinions, but I like to address certain things.

First off as mentioned by legalizecannibalism,

A beautiful day when two former world powers can unite to pick on a much less powerful country.

To some degree the notion of world powers is up for debate as to what it is. Is it military or economic might that makes a nation a world power nowadays?  Depends on your views and beliefs. To imply that the United States and Germany are picking on Afghanistan is odd at best, if not completely informed. Last I checked the U.S or Germany didn’t hijack a plane and crash it some building(s) of importance over there; a mosque maybe? In a way it would be like having someone punch you in the face and you reply with “Thank you!”…really now? Of course a nation will drop their troops into the country of the guy who orchestrated the attack.

Second comment that was quite entertaining came from decanusdeadsea,

Seriously, God. The commentary, I mean. Am I supposed to be proud that we have our guys out there helping those genocidal fucks because our current Chancellor is a spineless shit? Fuck that. Besides, we aren’t your fucking ‘allies’.

Also. ‘Former enemies’? That’s how we’re still classified? Fucking cute. LMAO

And WW2 wasn’t ‘just a generation’ ago. My grandparents were kids during it.

I completely understand Europe’s weak appetite for war. Both World Wars left deep and lasting scars on many, if not all the nations involved. I have family who are German and they do not enjoy looking back into the past.

Being called a genocidal American by a German, oh the bitter irony.

Whether you like it or not, the United States is Germany’s ally and Germany is the United State’s ally. You and many others disagree, and that’s fine. There are Germans who disagree with your opinion as well.  I’m not sure which side of the wall your family was on Mr. decanusdeadsea but I suppose the Berlin Airlifts that helped provide food, medicine and fuel to the deprived East Germans was a bad thing to do since we aren’t allies. Maybe if the wall didn’t come down we’d still have a divided Germany like we have a divided Korea.

The U.S and Germany are important economic allies as well.

German investment in the United States amounts to over 100 billion euros. The United States is the largest investor in the European Union with almost 50% of all investment and in Germany with total investment amounting to 100 billiondollars, of which about 10% are in the new Federal Länder (former East Germany), making the U.S. the largest foreign investor there.

So I suppose if the two nations aren’t allies, there shouldn’t be any foreign investments there. Both economies would crumble without each other.

In regards to the “former enemies”; yes, what else could you call it? We fought two wars against each other but now we coexist as foreign, economic and military allies. Same goes for Japan and Italy.

Lastly, the generational thing; that mistake I admit on, it was a time-frame error on my part which I’ve corrected. Congrats your grandparents were kids during the war; so were mine.

I don’t know what or why you have such animosity towards the U.S. but life is too short to be angry at a nation that has people who share your anti-war views as well as oppose your views.

Well that ends my rant. I’m not a mean guy or a smart-ass but again, I don’t take lightly to comments degrading soldiers or the country I’m in. Anyway as much as I want to add more I won’t. I do appreciate and read all the notes/comments on the pictures so I more or less engage with you all; hopefully in a positive way.
