Actually you make a good point and one I touched on early on in my blog. As much as we all know how CoD can ruin the perception of guns, it is a valuable means of exposure. I’m pretty sure the CEO’s and sales reps for Remington (ACR), FN (SCAR) and H&K (MP5) are all glad that their guns get represented in a game played by millions of people; some of which are customers or future customers.

Good example firearm though would be the SPAS-12. If I remember right, it was considered kind of broken (unless they patched it). The SPAS-12 is an okay shotgun but not very practical in real life. I do have one that I bought for sentimental value but I would trust a Remington 870 or Mossberg 500 or 590 over the SPAS-12 any day. Just cause its godly in-game, doesn’t mean it is in real life.
