Lever prone…

In regards to the “Rossi M92” post…

Well technically you could do that to fire a lever action prone but depending on the size of the rifle and even the loop ring, you’re shifting off target. This one of the reasons why the Russians didn’t like Winchester 1895 during the revolution. Firing prone with a bolt-action was safer and easier than with a lever action.

I just have found any practical instances where shooting a lever action prone would be necessary.
