Pardon the lack of posts lately. My summer semester of college ends next week so I’m doing finals while most other college students are gearing up for the first day of fall semester. Had a bit of class registration mix-ups and it was stressing me out that I may not have fall classes; which might not sound like a bad thing but financial aid would be cut.

Got my classes finally today so all is good. I did get paid today and debating on paying off my credit card and raising the spending limit, or buy a new gun. I spent around $1,500 last month on the Rock Island Auction guns. I’ve grown fond of my Egyptian AK but have a local buyer, so in a week or so it’ll be gone. I’m keeping the PSL for a much later project in mind.

So basically I’m in a rut of boredom and financial responsibility. I’ve been trying to cut down on random purchases so I can buy the DShK I’ve been ranting about for a few months now. I was derailed twice…first my Glock and Desert Eagle, then the PSL and AK. 

My brother is collector, buyer and seller as well, though he prefers shoes…sneakers to be exact. We really don’t have much in common interest wise. I do have to say he’s as good at his interest as I am in mine. Usually I criticize him for spending $250 on a pair of sneakers but at the same time he criticizes me for buying $800 or thousand dollar plus guns. A hobby is a hobby and an interest is an interest. Reason I brought this up was I initially thought about having him help me figure out what shoes gain in value so I can resell for profit to fund my guns. Kind of a side-side job since my hours being cut at work drastically reduced my income. 

On a tumblr related note, I may do a movie related gun post now and then. Some guns are made famous in movies, for example the Smith & Wesson Model 29 in Dirty Harry. The SPAS-12 in The Terminator and Jurassic Park, the M60 in Rambo and so forth. I’ll see how it goes, I usually avoid Hollywood portrayals of firearms cause they’re usually inaccurate depictions, and Hollywood for the most part is largely anti-gun. Ironic in a way that some action stars hate guns but they’re famous for movies that use them constantly.

It’s Saturday, well sorta, what’s left of it. Homework to finish, work at 6am tomorrow, dealer is out of town for gun shows so no gun buying this week, old coworker/friend…un-friended me. Maybe the horribly violent pics I post aren’t a good way to maintain friendships with normal people, girls especially. Or maybe its her current boyfriend not liking her old friends. If society let me, I’d get rid of competition the old fashioned way. Fuck this bad mood D:<
