Blood… Pakistani Special Forces members during a survival training exercise…this part requires them to eat coagulated blood in the event they are out of rations. I somewhat doubt that is human blood but at the same time conditioning someone to eat blood seems like a last resort. Why? If you’ve got blood, you usually have an animal’s carcass, which means meat. It’s possible the training here is to draw and drink or eat your own blood in extreme circumstances. The Mongols did a similar practice except on their horses, making very slight cuts so they could drink the blood for nourishment on long invasion rides.

Bad-ass. The Mongols also preferred to use mares over male ponies/mules/whatever because they could get dat milk, too.
