Guns & Movies… One of the most iconic science-fiction guns, the USCMC (United States Colonial Marine Corps) M41A Pulse Rifle seen here with Ripley in Aliens. Three prop guns were used to make this prop rifle for the movies; an M1A1 Thompson, a Remington 870 and a SPAS-12. A custom chassis served to incorporate all three guns into one futuristic looking firearm. On an interesting side note, there is a company that makes a working replica of the M41A Pulse Rifle. It uses an M-11 9mm sub-machine gun housed in a 1:1 copy of the M41A chassis. A cut-down Remington 870 serves as an under-barrel shotgun. The replica also features the signature LED ammo counter that lets you know how many rounds are left.
