Sterling Type 2 This is a semi-auto 9mm carbine version of the Sterling sub-machine gun. There are two carbine versions, this one having the full length barrel shroud. The other has most of the 16” barrel exposed. Very simple design, I think the Type 2 with the full shroud looks a lot better than the one with the pencil barrel. I don’t know if these are still in production, haven’t seen as much of them around as before.
