Mexican FX-05 One of Mexico’s new assault rifles, the FX-05 Xiuhcoatl. It bears a very striking resemblance to the H&K G36, so much so that H&K CEO’s went to Mexico to see if there was a patent design infringement. The FX-05 was later deemed a completely different rifle from the G36. Note the transparent magazines, you can slightly see the tabs on the side that allow them to interlock together, a feature seen on G36 magazines.
