Type-81 Bangladeshi soldiers with their licensed and locally produced copies of the Chinese Type-81. Still chambered in 7.62x39mm, they either have a fixed stock or a side-folding stock like the Type-56 II. There has been some talk to try and produce a cheap clone in the U.S but I think the project was scrapped. With so many SKS and AK’s already out there, making a Type-81 clone would be cost prohibitive.
