FN-Herstal’s booth with some of their belt-fed examples. In a historic kind of view, had FN’s FAL won the competition against the M14, U.S troops would have used it in Vietnam. Currently the U.S fields both of FN’s belt-fed machine guns, the Minimi and MAG, designated the M249 and M240B. It’s possible that the FN FNAC could also be the U.S’s new standard issue rifle if it wins the Individual Carbine contract competition. Belgians…I love them for their chocolate, waffles and firearms.
