VZ24 Sniper

A rather obscure sniper rifle from Romania, exact number produced is unknown. When surplus VZ24 rifles were imported into the U.S, some had the scope mount tabs on the receiver but no scope mounts or scopes included. Reproduction scope mounts were sold for a short time. This rifle has a ridiculously high cheek weld, which might explain why only a few were made.

I wonder what the cheek weld looks like with a scope that high.
