Well today was a pretty good day. Went to the range with my cousin to sight in his Savage 270 rifle. My other cousin was already there with a co-worker and his girlfriend he just introduced into firearms.

I didn’t bring too many guns this time; just my PSL, Armi Jager AP-15, Rossi Cyclops and my Desert Eagle. Didn’t run into any problems so was happy about that, then again I probably only put 50 rounds through each, most of the time was helping my cousin sight the 270. I also didn’t want to go through most of my ammo since I’m between jobs and funds are tight.

Favorite thing I shot out of the 4 I brought, probably my Desert Eagle. I’m not even kidding when I say the recoil on a .357 Desert Eagle is mild, it felt like a 9mm. Yeah the .50 Action Express might be cooler but fuck spending that much money on ammo for a handgun.

Saw a nice decent mix of guns today; lots of Glocks, one XD, a Ruger Mini-14, tons of AR’s, an Steyr Aug, a SIG 556. Biggest toy there a Barrett M82 CQB. Really short and compact, but loud as expected.

Didn’t rain in spite the looming clouds and horrible humidity. Was nice to be able to relax and just enjoy the range. My hands reek of gunpowder, metal, oil, and cleaning solvent, not that I’m complaining.

My guns are cleaned and put away, and now I’m bored. I would have taken pictures but I forgot. Last time I was at the range was back in March. I went to blow off some steam, cause that day was also when my old co-worker got into a new relationship when I was going to ask her if she wanted to go shooting. Ehh fuck it.
