Random rounds…

Another dose of random stuff from my everyday existence. If you didn’t see the prior post on this last week, I changed the Daily Randomness into Random Rounds, though it’ll probably change again next week.

So whats been going on lately? A few things but I’ll start with tumblr related stuff. I did change the theme today to one that is a bit of a balance between photo and text related posts.

I got rid of the page view counter which I don’t mind, I was glad I hit over 110,000+ page views since April. I may install another counter but haven’t decided. I did bring back the music player which some people liked, others didn’t.

Biggest change with the theme is that single image posts don’t show the typed information unless you click on that specific image. Photosets will show the typed info like normal. It’s a trade off I suppose but so far it seems okay.

I haven’t posted much in a while, been busy handling a few things gun related. The new gun I have coming in, well it’s delayed. Guy shipped it using a different courier than I had recommended so it won’t be here in time for my next range trip this Saturday. 

Also been installing parts on my shotgun I was going to sell but kept. But the biggest thing keeping me occupied is the DShK. Yes, that gun I’ve ranted and blogged about for months, well I finally have more than enough money for it. There is a slight catch (well catches) which I’ll blog about next time.

Other than that, generally I’m in my best mood and happiest during October, and yes it’s cause of Halloween. Some may call it childish, some may call it a fabricated holiday, but whatever. Some people love Christmas, Valentine’s Day, 4/20…I’m sticking to mine. Oh I guess I’ll inject some politics in this since it is election year and about a month away. I didn’t see the whole debate between Pres. Obama and Gov. Romney…though my friend basically told me “Obama got Mittslapped”. I’m not a die-hard Republican or conservative, I vote between party lines but because of my vested interest in firearms and the 2nd Amendment, I guess you could call me more red than blue.
