Smith & Wesson 500

At one point the S&W500 was the most powerful production revolver in the world but there are other models that share the caliber. Larger calibers exist but are custom built limited production firearms. This model with the 4” barrel still has the compensator designed to help tame the considerable recoil. Although firing the S&W 500 with 4” barrel sounds painful, Taurus went a step further and released a 2” barreled version of the Raging Bull 500.
