Galatz An Israeli soldier using the 7.62x51mm “sniper” version of the Galil, the Galatz. The scope is off-set to the left due to how it mounts to the receiver. In spite the longer, heavier barrel, adjustable side-folding stock and bipod, the Galatz’s accuracy was never anywhere near as close as a true bolt-action sniper rifle. Note the 25 round magazine.
