SOCOM 16 The SOCOM 16 has a “scout” type rail on the upper handguard section. A convenient spot to place a red dot but the rail heats up quite fast which may interfere with your optics. Saw one for sale online yesterday at a bargain price but when I called the shop to buy it, the rifle had already sold. Would have made a nice profit but I probably would have kept it. This thing is on my top 10 to buy list. Someday.
