Communist training… Probably a propaganda photo but it depicts a North Vietnamese woman being trained with a Chinese T53 Carbine. The T53 was variant of the Mosin Nagant M44. Note the AK’s carried by the other Vietcong. Of all the M44 variants imported into the U.S for the surplus market, the T53’s are generally the worst in terms of condition.
