The Israeli made rifle based heavily on the Kalashnikov action. Majority of the ones on the market at affordable prices are the Century Arms “Golani”. They’re generally out of spec and have function and reliability issues due to poor quality of receivers.
The one in the photo is an Action Arms import from Israel before the ban. Magnum Research and Springfield Armory were the other importers of real Israeli but civilian model Galils. There is a huge price difference; a Century Arms Golani will run you about $800 to $1,000; while a Galil from Action Arms, Magnum Research or Springfield Armory will be around $2,500+.
