Freedom’s Steel II “Never Forget”

Normally I don’t comment on knife posts but this one is unique. The Freedom’s Steel II is made using material from important landmarks of American history. The blade is a classic Bowie configuration; the U.S’s most iconic knife.

It uses steel from the Statue of Liberty, the USS Cole and the World Trade Centers. The steel was then folded 700 times, to represent the 700 British troops that attacked the Minutemen at Lexington and Concord.

The wood spacer on the handle is made from the “Live Oak” located in the Alamo. It’s ivory handle is from the excavated remains of a mammoth in Alaska.

It will be auctioned off at the NRA-ILA dinner in May although you can bid online for it now. Proceeds from the auction will go towards funding pro-2nd Amendment causes.
