Desert Eagle 50 AE (This one has the infamous titanium gold finish, a popular choice for movies and videogames. The grips are aftermarket from the company Hogue. They make finger grooved grips for a lot of firearms; from rifles to handguns. A lot of Desert Eagle owners like the Hogue version because it provides a more comfortable and secure grip than the factory ones. Gold would probably be the last finish choice I’d choose; I prefer matte black.)

Custom Smith & Wesson 1911 (Back view…I had read that this pistol cost $10,000 but I have no verification on that, just what I saw. Engraving can be costly, especially with gold inlays involved.)

Custom Smith & Wesson 1911… (Lots of engraving and gold on this one but don’t recall if this was a special presentation model for limited release or someone’s personal custom.)

IMI UZI (Having used mine at the range today I can come to appreciate how simple and reliable the UZI is. Recoil was almost non-existant because of the K-grip I have installed. Still trying to find a genuine UZI scope mount for a red-dot sight.)

Gold Glock? (As tacky as it may be to some, I’m kind of fond of two-tone guns like this for collecting. I’ve voiced my opinion on gold finishes before on other posts but to reiterate, the gold finish tends to wear off the more you handle it. Well all finishes wear off but the gold ones especially unless taken care well.)

The Chicago Typewriter… (Probably one of the most famous machine-guns in the world. Used by law enforcement, gangsters, soldiers and civilians alike; was loved for it’s firepower. I believe there is still a company that offers their Tommy-Gun in this custom case configuration.)

Desert Eagle 50 AE w/ Gold Tiger-stripe finish (I prefer a matte black finish on the Desert Eagle because the gold, although a great conversational piece and cool to look at, tends to get dirty fast since naturally all people have oil and sweat on their hands. If you get the golden ones, be sure to take care of it.)

Going overseas… (I was talking to a buddy of mine and he told me how way back in the 1960’s and 70’s airport security was so lax he could bring assault rifles through security in bags.)

Glock 19 w/ Stainless Steel Slide (Glocks have a lot of aftermarket accessories and services available to make them custom; either for competitions or personal owner preference. One of the few modifications I absolutely hate though is stippling. It’s when you gouge out the the plastic in the handle to create a custom/unique grip texture. Most of the time it looks like crap. I’d rather leave the factory grip as is.)
